Gallery Opening - Body Of Art (5:30PM - 7:30PM)
An array of mannequin arms, legs, torsos, heads, hands and feet are being turned into works of art by such Norman luminaries as University of Oklahoma President David Boren, award-winning clothing designer Kayne Gillaspie, Norman Mayor Cindy Rosenthal and 1969 Heisman Trophy winner Steve Owens – all to raise funds to enable The Performing Arts Studio to continue to provide superior fine arts programming to the community. The project, called “Body of Art,” will be on display April 1-16 before the pieces are sold at auction on April 17. Both the exhibition and auction will be held at the PAS’s home, the historic Santa Fe Depot, 200 S. Jones Ave.
