“Almost Outlaws,” a duo that stays on the right side of the law, will play at the final Lunchtime Concert of this year on Friday, October 3.  A free chili lunch for 100 will be served at 11:45, prepared by Mark Amspatcher, owner of The Diner.

The concert, sponsored by the Norman Downtowners Association and produced by The Performing Arts Studio, takes place on the north lawn of Norman’s historic train depot, 200 South Jones.  In case of rain, the concert will be moved inside.

Judge Bill Hetherington and attorney Lindsay Bailey, make up “Almost Outlaws.”  The two, who have played together for several years, were regulars at Sooner Legends for a time.  Bailey on guitar and Hetherington at the keyboard, come together to make country and western music for their own enjoyment and to share with others.  The duo was a big hit last year.  Don’t miss this special musical treat!

“This is a great opportunity to enjoy fabulous music, wonderful food and the charm of downtown Norman. Make sure to set aside enough time to attend the Lunchtime Concert, enjoy Mark's chili and then take a stroll through the downtown area. Come experience the excitement of new businesses and the comfort of some of your favorite establishments.” says Newt Mitchell, President ot the Norman Downtowners Association.

The Norman Downtowners Association, which represents the many outstanding businesses in the downtown area, is pleased to bring Lunchtime Concerts to the community.  Everyone is invited to attend.
