DORIAN SMALL TO PLAY SUMMER BREEZE PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 21 July 2009

ImageThe Performing Arts Studio is pleased to welcome Dorian Small and his band to the Summer Breeze stage on Sunday July 26, 2009, at Lion’s Park, at 7:30 pm.  Those attending the concert are encouraged to bring picnic baskets and lawn chairs to enjoy the free outdoor show.

Dorian Small has been described as a delicious, four-piece rock band from Norman, Oklahoma. In a couple of years, they have created a signature sound: multiple genres blended behind a distinctive voice singing meaningful lyrics that could cause anyone from your Britney Spears-obsessed teenage sister to your ex-hippy Grandmother to swoon and have a sing-a-long. This ambitious and prolific band promises an electrifying show with something for every audience.

“We are very excited to have Dorian and his band playing Summer Breeze this year,” says Steven White, Summer Breeze Chairman.  “Of all the Oklahoma bands striving to make it to the next level, I think Dorian has the talent and the sound to actually do it.  I think his lyrics and music are better than ninety-five percent of what I hear on the radio, and it’s just a matter of time until we see him emerge on the national scene.  This will be an excellent opportunity to see and support a great local musician in the park with family and friends.”
