Performing Arts Studio Membership Opportunities Norman’s Performing Arts Studio (PAS) founded in the fall of 2003 with a mission to
create and present excellent and innovative fine arts programs for the enrichment and
education of our community, is located in Norman’s historic Santa Fe Train Depot, 200
South Jones Ave. “We are the new kid on the arts block” says Board President Edward Adwon. “We have
developed outstanding programs in our short existence, and are now offering members of
the community the opportunity to support Summer Breeze Concerts, Winter Wind
Concerts, Gallery Exhibitions and Second Sunday Poetry Readings -- the primary programs
of PAS -- through your tax deductible membership donations.” A Senior’s Theater
Program has just begun with Radio Theater Live, and additional concert series are being
developed. “Membership support will be important to maintaining the high quality of both
existing and future programs.” says Adwon. “PAS programs help to make Norman one
of the best places in the country to live.” “Grants from the Norman Arts Council, Oklahoma Arts Council and the National
Endowment for the Arts provide a base of financial support for our programs” says
Executive Director Nancy McClellan, “and The City of Norman provides our Depot home.
Rental of the Depot for weddings, parties and meetings helps fund operating expenses.
Individual and Corporate Sponsorships make it possible for the very popular Summer
Breeze Concerts, attended by thousands, to remain free to the public, and for Winter Wind
Concerts and Gallery Exhibitions to feature outstanding artists. Funding remains tight,
however, and membership dollars will help keep PAS and our programs financially
